Former 1980s Graphic Designer

A Life in Pursuit of Creative Excellence

Born on February 24, 1956, in Montluçon (Allier), Daniel Mousset moved to Paris in 1973 after earning a high honors baccalaureate in literature from the Lycée Madame de Staël in Montluçon. For 45 years, Daniel Mousset was a proactive, dedicated, and highly available graphic designer, working on projects of nearly every budget size. Graduating from ESAG-Penninghen in 1977, he began his career as a junior art director in communication agencies of the time, such as Exact Conseil, Pema 2B, Média PA, and Futurs (part of the Havas-Eurocom group). He went independent in 1983 under the name DMP (Daniel Mousset Productions), transitioning from traditional advertising to computer-aided design (CAD), with a training course in IT at CFDAA in 1993. He witnessed the revolutions brought by the internet and smartphones, contributing to these profound shifts in how designs were conceived and executed. Now retired, he divides his time peacefully between Paris's 16th arrondissement and Blonville. He warmly thanks all the clients who trusted him and wishes the new generation of creatives the best of luck as they take on professional responsibilities. Daniel Mousset remains open to friends for occasional graphic design volunteer work or technical advice.
